AUCTIONEER'S NOTES

Welcome to another AAA Auction! This one has a collection of Land O' Lakes items and a Kunz AcrEase 44" Rough Cut pull-behind Mower as well as more firearms, ammo, knives, coins, vintage postcards, beer items, Airsoft guns, and box lots.

 

Airsoft Guns: While many of the Airsoft or other air guns appear to be new-in-the-box, none of them have been tested and they are all being sold AS-IS.

 

Website Tip: We sometimes hear a bidder say that he or she really wanted an item but forgot that the auction was closing, so they missed out. Don't let that happen to you, especially during this busy time of year. Instead, you should consider placing a maximum bid on the item that you really want. The computer will then bid for you, but only up to the lowest amount necessary to win the item.

Upcoming Action: Our next auction will again be a no-sales-tax coin-only auction all from one collector. 

 

ZERO COMMISSION SPECIALS

Knives   In addition to our already low rates, we will not charge the Seller a commission on knives, bayonets, hatchets, axes and swords consigned before January 1, 2023.

Beer and Alcohol Items   Do you still have Grampa's beer signs and barroom décor items?  If so, now is the time to sell because our next Zero Commission category is Beer and Alcohol-Related items. That includes signs, glasses, labeled paper items, advertising. (Sorry, no cans please unless cone-top). That means we will not charge the Seller anything for any beer-related item as long as it is consigned before St. Patrick's Day (March 17th). 

 

SCHEDULING

Preview
Preview is Monday, December 19, 2022, from 10 a.m. until noon. Please know what lots you would like to preview before you arrive. We will bring them to you. General browsing is not allowed.

 

Mower Preview and Pickup

The preview for the mower is at a residence in Oak Grove. IT IS NOT AT THE AUCTION BARN.  It will be on Saturday, December 17th from 9 to 10 a.m. by appointment only. Please call (763) 421-3044 before that day to schedule. The winner of the mower is asked to call AAA Auction to schedule a convenient time to pick it up from the residence in Oak Grove.

 

Closing Time
The auction starts to close at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. The closing time is staggered. The items close one at a time.

Closing Rate
Seven lots per minute, which is about 8.5 seconds per lot, plus extended bidding time when a bid is placed within the final 60 seconds.

Pickup Days and Times
Due to weather conditions, we have added an option to pick up items on Monday, December 26th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. No call to AAA or prepayment is necessary. Pickup will still be offered today, Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Pickup is by online appointment. Winning bidders will receive an invoice by email soon after the auction closes. The invoice will have a link to the pickup-scheduling page. Please call us at (763) 421-3044 if you have trouble scheduling a pickup time.

Coins
Cash payment is required for coins and currency. No shipping for coins.

Firearms
Bring a case. Guns must be cased when leaving the Auction Barn, so please bring any case you need. All state and federal rules apply, including needing a purchase or carry permit to purchase a handgun or AR. 

Loading
AAA does not load purchases. Please bring your own muscle. If, however, we do help you load, we will ask you to make a donation into our charitable tip jar, which will be used for local charitable purposes.

Pickup Procedure
Please drive to the left of the Auction Barn. Park there. Come in and pay. Then drive around the barn and park again when you get to the front of the barn, where your items will be brought out to you.

Late Pickups
If you cannot pick up your items on the scheduled day, you must call us during the scheduled pickup time and pay for them with a credit card or you will lose your bidding privileges. When you call, you will be asked to schedule a pickup time on the following Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday morning. No late fees will be charged if you pick up your item on one of those days. Pickups at any other time or day will result in a minimum $5 fee. If you pay for your items but do not pick up your paid items by the following Wednesday as scheduled, you shall be charged a late fee of $10.00 per day until your items are picked up. If your late fees exceed the amount you paid, your items shall be forfeited by you in lieu of your late fees. Please note that we will no longer be calling folks who do not pick up their items on time whether paid for or not.

Low Consignment Rates
In addition to our everyday low rates, coins are only 10% to the Seller, and we are now offering to sell the following for FREE to the Seller:

• Firearms
• Ammo
• Anything selling for over $1000
• Our current temporary promotional category of items (see above).

Referral Fees
Do you know anyone who needs to sell a house or its contents? If so, we would be grateful if you would refer them to us. If you do, and we take the job, we will pay you a referral fee for the sale of the personal property.
